Andrea + Frank | Pittsburgh Airport Marriott Wedding Photos

I’m so excited to finally share our last wedding of 2017! Andrea & Frank were married at the very end of December on a freezing cold and picture-perfect snowy day. We lucked out, a winter wedding in Pittsburgh is usually just brown, gray, and wet :) Andrea and Frank were married at St. Barbara Parish in Bridgeville, then followed it up with a fun reception at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott Hotel. Here is their story:

“It all started around three years ago. Andrea had just accepted a new job. This forever changed her life. A few months in, Andrea decided to do some Facebook creeping on one of the workers. Anyone that knows her knows that she really should have been some type of private investigator because she creeps on everyone and everything! In passing on their frequent trips to the bathroom she had noticed Frank, his dark hair, dark skin, and sweet smile had intrigued her. She figured out his name and looked him up on Facebook. Her plan was just to look at all of his pictures and get a feel as to whether or not he was single and what his story was. Well.. She “accidentally” friend requested him. She remembered snooping on his page and then taking a bubble bath. Much to her surprise when she checked her phone afterwards a notification had popped up saying that Frank had accepted her friend request. She was mortified! Anyone that knows Frank knows that he is pretty to the point and blunt so he called her out on it in a private facebook message. After that they started chatting about how ugly her steel toed shoes were and made small talk. Weeks went by after their first conversation and nothing more had come of it.

Finally a month later Frank worked up the courage to message Andrea on facebook and asked if she was seeing anyone, at that time she was, and he told her to let him know if things didn’t work out with the other person. After a month, Andrea had decided to let Frank know she was back on the market. A few days later Andrea was leaving work on a Friday night and Frank was standing outside on his break, the two of them talked for an hour outside in the rain that night. Frank asked her for her number and the rest was history. They scheduled their first date and went out 2 more times that week together and that’s pretty much how every week went for the first month of dating. They quickly realized that they had a lot of fun and a lot laughs together and this continued. A few months later Frank introduced Andrea to two of the sweetest little girls she had ever met. Thankfully Mia and Maura accepted Andrea in their life and now the three of them gang up on daddy ;-)

They have had their fair share of ups and downs and a series of hard times to work through, but what they have learned is that their bond is pretty much unbreakable at this point and that together they can make it through anything. They have a strong love and respect for each other and know that they are better people with each other than without, and to solidify that Frank decided to pop the question on February 11th 2017. To make the engagement even more special he proposed with Grandma Louise’s wedding ring. His best friend and his girlfriend had been hiding in the area and captured the special moment with pictures. Andrea was so surprised that they were there and she had missed them that she hadn’t even looked at the ring, finally she said ” there’s a ring!” and put it on her finger. It was meant to be, grandma’s ring fit perfectly! Since then its been a whirlwind of wedding planning! Thanks for visiting our page and we cant wait to see everyone!”
