Amanda + Keith | The Club at Shadow Lakes Wedding Photos

I’ve been looking forward to Amanda & Keith’s wedding ever since I met them last year, and photographed their engagement session. Amanda was actually a bridesmaid at her sister’s Shannopin Country Club wedding a couple years ago. Amanda & Keith were married at St. John the Baptist Church in Monaca, then partied it up at The Club at Shadow Lakes in Aliquippa. Here is their story:

“After Amanda’s sister, Sarah, was married (Aaron photographed that wedding, too!), she and another bridesmaid, Laura, decided to head out to continue the reception with some friends. Laura invited some people to meet them, and in that group was Keith. Laura introduced the two, and they talked that evening, even discovering that Amanda graduated with Keith’s brother! At the end of the night, they decided that they should meet again. A month went by, and Laura hosted another get-together with friends. Amanda and Keith were both there again. They reconnected and talked all night. A few days later, after getting Laura to exchange numbers for them, they met for coffee and have been inseparable ever since! Amanda and Keith are forever thankful for their “matchmaker”!

Keith decided that he and Amanda should take a road trip over an upcoming three day weekend in May. He decided on Niagara Falls, Canada, and Amanda thought this location was only chosen because he had recently gotten a passport! After walking past the Falls and enjoying a nice dinner, it was decided that a ride on the Ferris Wheel was necessary! Amanda had convinced Keith to ride one similar in Las Vegas, and it was only appropriate to ride another. As Amanda took pictures of the Falls, she looked down and saw Keith on one knee in the Ferris Wheel pod in which they rode. She started to cry, and Keith asked her to marry him. Those next moments were full of so much love and excitement for the start of a new journey in life together! To Amanda’s surprise, Keith also planned a wine tour for the following day to celebrate. It has been a whirlwind since that day in May, but Keith and Amanda wouldn’t trade it for anything!”
