{"id":358,"date":"2010-12-20T18:48:28","date_gmt":"2010-12-20T18:48:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.aaronvargaphotography.com\/blog\/2010\/12\/20\/rolling-acres-golf-course-wedding-beaver-falls-wedding-photographer\/"},"modified":"2014-04-24T11:16:10","modified_gmt":"2014-04-24T16:16:10","slug":"rolling-acres-golf-course-timberhouse-wedding","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.aaronvargaphotography.com\/blog\/wedding-photographers\/rolling-acres-golf-course-timberhouse-wedding\/","title":{"rendered":"Rolling Acres Golf Course Wedding Photos"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I recently had the fortunate opportunity to second shoot and assist the extremely nice and talented Leeann Marie Golish (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.leeannmariephotography.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">check out her website<\/a>\u2026she\u2019s awesome) at a wedding at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rollingacresgolf.com\/the-timberhouse\" target=\"_blank\">Rolling Acres Golf Course<\/a> in Beaver Falls, PA.\u00a0 It was the perfect venue for a wintery wedding \u2013 warm fireplaces, a log-cabin country feel, Christmas trees and decorations, and of course a very much in love bride and groom. The ceremony was a little later in the day so Leeann had them do a \u201cfirst look\u201d photo session beforehand.\u00a0 First looks are such a great idea from the photography perspective \u2013 you get to enjoy the daylight as much as possible, and the photographer really has a chance to capture the bride and groom\u2019s natural reactions when they see each other for the first time.\u00a0 I say \u201cnatural\u201d reactions because sure, it\u2019s always great to see the groom\u2019s face light up when he sees his bride walking towards him down the aisle, but usually they hold their excitement in and let the ceremony get started.\u00a0 Having a first look allows the couple to hug and kiss each other and just be all happy and excited together without worrying about a room full of people staring at them.\u00a0 It\u2019s certainly not for everyone, but it has its place. The Timberhouse at the golf course was decorated beautifully, and what I loved was that the ceremony and reception hall was in the same warm and inviting room.\u00a0 They can move the chairs and setup the dinner tables in 20 minutes.\u00a0 I love this shot during their first look, you can really get a feel for how perfect the venue was for a fun wintery wedding: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aaronvargaphotography.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/ACV_RollingAcresWedding-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; margin: 15px 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px; border: 0px;\" title=\"ACV_RollingAcresWedding-2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.aaronvargaphotography.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/ACV_RollingAcresWedding-2_thumb.jpg\" alt=\"ACV_RollingAcresWedding-2\" width=\"613\" height=\"900\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a> I give props to the bride and groom for braving the freezing cold weather to get a few fun outdoor shots.\u00a0 I think it really paid off. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aaronvargaphotography.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/ACV_RollingAcresWedding-7.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; margin: 15px 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px; border: 0px;\" title=\"ACV_RollingAcresWedding-7\" src=\"https:\/\/www.aaronvargaphotography.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/ACV_RollingAcresWedding-7_thumb.jpg\" alt=\"ACV_RollingAcresWedding-7\" width=\"575\" height=\"900\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a> It wasn\u2019t hard getting shots of them holding each other close, it was obvious how much they love each other.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.aaronvargaphotography.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/composite4.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; margin: 15px 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px; border: 0px;\" title=\"composite4\" src=\"https:\/\/www.aaronvargaphotography.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/composite4_thumb.jpg\" alt=\"composite4\" width=\"900\" height=\"660\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a> Their nephew was always there to help and was never more than a few feet away.
