Gina + Chris | Oglebay Resort Wedding Photos

Oh man, I’m SO, so excited to share this wedding. Some days just come together so perfectly and Gina & Chris’s Oglebay Resort wedding is certainly one of them. From the beautiful weather, to the amaaaaaaazing reception room and beautiful details, all the way to the sweet and fun couple. We started the day at the Wilson Lodge at Oglebay for the bridal prep and getting-ready photos, then took the trolley to the historic Cathedral of St. Joseph in nearby Wheeling. After an epic rice-throwing exit we headed back to Oglebay for photos. Gina mentioned that she spent much of the past year planning this wedding, and when I saw the decorated Glessner Ballroom I knew exactly where that time went. This was one of the most beautiful, epic reception rooms I’ve photographed. I was in the room when a few people trickled in, and each one gasped with an “oh my goodness!” right after :) The pink and purple uplighting, the huge floral arrangements, the candelabras on the head table, the massive cake, the chandeliers….just, all of it made Gina’s vision of her wedding complete.
