I’m so excited to post this awesome wintery wedding! Megan and Tyler were married in the historical St. James Meeting House in Boardman, OH, but began the day at Megan’s mother’s house to get ready and for their first look. Since it was a winter wedding, and gets dark really early, I love that they decided to have a first look since it gave us an opportunity to get a lot of fun photos before the ceremony.
Megan wore the dress that her mother AND grandmother wore for their weddings! How cool is that!? What a great way to incorporate family tradition into their wedding day. We had to be really careful though since it was so delicate, so we decided not to hang the dress from a tree this time :) Megan and Tyler had their reception at the Davis Education Center at Mill Creek Park in Youngstown, OH, and man was it a fun crowd! Here are a few favorites from their day…

Megan and Tyler weren’t the only ones enjoying their first look :)
I love the snow-covered wood piles and evergreen trees! Such a perfect backdrop for a winter wedding…
I love the pine cones in the boutonnieres and bouquets; Megan and Tyler had great taste and attention to details!

Yep, they cut their cake with a samurai sword :)

Thanks so much, Amanda and I had a blast photographing your wedding! Enjoy your honeymoon!
